The Huntsman Awards for Excellence in Education is celebrating their 25th year recognizing the importance of school education. Friday, May 12, 2017, Jennifer Huntsman Parkin welcomed the new inductees, as well as the winners from each of the previous 24 years.

Principal Shanna Stirland expressed her appreciation to the Nebo School Board of Education and what an honor it is to serve as principal of Park View Elementary for the past three years.
Nebo School District and Maple Mountain High has held an annual Super Star Track and Field Day for the past seven years. This is not any ordinary track and field event. In fact is it held for “Super Stars”--Nebo’s special needs students.
Nebo’s fifth-grade students participated in the Utah County Hope of America Program sponsored by the America’s Freedom Foundation. Nebo students practiced songs, including actions, in preparation for this patriotic musical celebration.
Principal Ryan Murray addressed the Nebo School Board of Education and expressed how thankful he is for the wonderful parents that support the great children of Orchard Hills Elementary.
The Nebo School Board of Education and Superintendent Nielsen meets with students from each of the high schools and junior high schools on a quarterly basis. Each Youth Board representative is selected by his/her principal to be a spokesperson for their school.
