Ginger Hansen, Hobble Creek Elementary, was honored as the Utah Distinguished Mentor in Teacher Education by the Utah Association of Teacher Educators (UATE). This award recognizes and honors school-based educators mentoring new teachers.
MMHS choirs and orchestra successfully auditioned for a unique opportunity to offer a solo performance in Carnegie Hall. The preparations for such an experience has tangibly enhanced MMHS’s curriculum this year.
Springville High School has a new kind of team on the field; a particle physics team. Called the 5 Sigma Project, the team was formed to submit an experiment to CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research in Geneva, Switzerland.
In February, JoAnn Tuttle received the 2015-16 Outstanding Administrator of the Year award from the UACTE Administrative Division. She also was chosen as the Administrator of the Year by the Work-Based Learning Association.
