On April 28, Canyon Elementary along with Spanish Fork City, a tree city, celebrated Arbor Day. At the local Parkside Estates Park seven trees were planted with the help of Canyon Elementary’s second-graders and city staff.

Congratulations to Rees Elementary, in Nebo School District, and their school PR Ambassador, Heidi Groneman, for earning the Nebo #Hashtag Award.

The eighth-grade Peer Leadership Class at Payson Junior high School made Hygiene Kits for Refugees in Bangladesh. They started with a Telethon where they called local businesses and residents to ask for donations.

Springville Junior’s Spanish and Dual Language students participated in the BYU Language Fair. Students compete in individual events to test their language abilities.

Nebo School District’s 7th Annual Elementary Keyboarding Competition was held on April 18-19 at each elementary school in the district. Students were tested by their school's keyboarding specialist to qualify to participate.
