Salem Hills Students will Represent Utah at the International Envirothon Competition
Coach Gary Mathewson, teacher at Payson High School, was awarded the State Driver Education Teacher of the Year Award for 2011-2012 by the Utah Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association in Salt Lake City.
The Nebo Education Foundation is composed of 20 volunteer board members who live in cities serviced by Nebo School District. Board members meet each month to review and award grant requests, consider fund-raising avenues and other items that advance the educational opportunities for Nebo School
Shawn Rawlings, fifth-grade teacher at Westside Elementary, will begin work on his master’s degree in Administration at BYU’s McKay School of Education in the prestigious Leadership Preparation Program (LPP).
The Cherry Creek Elementary teachers and staff are holding a retirement open house for Mark Balzotti Wednesday May 9th 5-7 p.m. All current and former students, teachers and administrators are invited.

Nebo’s green houses are well on their way.
Landmark’s greenhouse is full, and the night class has been a huge success. The students are planting for local businesses and even the cities.
Nebo Junior High Jazz Bands from Mapleton, Diamond Fork, Spanish Fork, Mt. Nebo, and Payson Junior High Schools presented well-rehearsed performances. The adjudicator for the event was Todd Halverson from Alpine District. Mr.
