Payson Language Club
The Payson Language Club has been founded to help students learn and practice languages, including those not in the school's curriculum.
The organization of the Payson Language Club is as follows:
The members will be divided into study groups based upon the language they are learning. The members learning the same language will be in the same study group
Each study group will choose a single member from within to be an officer. Officers will lead the study group in their studying and assist the club with its operations.
If a study group has only one member, they will be an officer for their own language, but may choose to decline the management responsibilities.
The president of the Payson Language Club is elected by the members of the entire club. The president is chosen from the group of officers previously elected. The president will represent the Payson Language Club, assisted by their officers.
The officers and the president will coordinate the study groups and meetings.
The president will be elected at the beginning of each year. Officer elections will be held at the beginning of each term.
The Advisor of the club can veto any decision and discuss any president and officer
The club will follow the current president's instruction in opening and closing each meeting.
The president will visit every study group each mecting and review sus progress and how
Members of the club are expected to bring their own material for study. The officers will help their study group find appropriate material to use, eithet online or physical. Members are still expected to pay for it themselves, however.
The Payson Language Club will meet on Tuesdays after school every week for 45 minutes. They will meet in the E2 room unless otherwise instructed. The structure of each meeting is us follows
The first 5 minutes are set aside for all members to gather in the E2 room
The next 10 minutes is for sharing club news and related items with the entire club
The next fifteen minutes is for personal study.
The remaining time is for group study. The officers will lead their respective study groups in what they need
Before the club leaves, the president will lead in closing remarks and dismissing the members.
