Kelly Bennett, Kindergarten teacher at Maple Ridge Elementary, was pleasantly surprised on Tuesday, March 25th with a visit from the Fox 13 Dream Team! Ms. Bennett made a huge impact on students in Zimbabwe by helping facilitate the donation of nearly 50 tons of books!
Fox 13 and Mountain America Credit Union came to surprise Ms. Bennett and recognize her for her hard work! Because of Ms. Bennett's dedication to students, she was able to gather useful materials and send them to students and teachers in rural village schools in Zimbabwe. In the end, 65 pallets, and nearly 50 tons of books and materials were repurposed and sent to bless the lives of children in Africa.
