Our engineering class has just wrapped up the chemical engineering section, and it was nothing short of a delightful and educational experience. The highlight of this section was a hands-on activity where students got to dive into the world of culinary engineering by creating the ultimate pancake. Needless to say, the school smelled delightful during these two weeks!
The Pancake Challenge
Students were tasked with combining various ingredients to engineer a pancake that not only tasted great, but also demonstrated their understanding of chemical reactions and ingredient properties. It was fantastic to see the creativity and innovation that each student brought to their pancake creations. From experimenting with different flavor combinations, to achieving the perfect texture, the students truly embraced the challenge and learned valuable lessons in the process.
