On Friday, our 1st grade students celebrated the culmination of their CKLA Fairy Tale Unit by crafting their own magical crowns!
Throughout this unit, our young learners explored timeless fairy tales, immersing themselves in enchanting stories filled with brave heroes, clever plots, and fantastical settings. This experience has not only sparked their imaginations but also laid a strong foundation for understanding fiction in future grades.
From the delightful tales of kings, queens, and enchanted lands, students have learned important narrative elements like character, plot, and setting. They've also engaged in narrative writing, retelling their favorite stories with creativity and flair.
Our studentsā handmade crowns are a testament to their newfound knowledge and creativity. We are so proud of their hard work and imagination!
