We were thrilled to have Kimber and Corbin's mom and aunt visit our school to share the magic of the Chinese New Year and Zodiac stories through an enchanting shadow show. Her visit to several of our DLI classrooms was a fantastic opportunity for students to immerse themselves in Chinese culture. The stories came alive, and our students were captivated by this unique cultural experience. Thank you for bringing such wonder to our classrooms!

Lunchtime was a blast with the Dance Through the Decades party, where students got to groove to their favorite tunes from past eras! The fun didn't stop thereākaraoke sessions had everyone singing their hearts out, while our Push-Up Contest showcased some serious strength and determination!
Itās been a fantastic way to reconnect, have fun, and start the new term with enthusiasm and energy. Weāre so proud of our students for embracing the spirit of the week with such joy and positivity. Go, Sage Creek Dragons!

Channeling the genius of the Renaissance!
Our 5th grade students at Sage Creek Elementary are painting masterpieces under their desks, just like Michelangelo did in the Sistine Chapel! This hands-on activity is part of our Renaissance Unit, offering a seamless integration of the arts. By exploring the works and techniques of great masters like Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, and Michelangelo, our students are not only learning about history but also experiencing the cultural rebirth that swept through Europe.

Sage Creek Spirit Week

Holiday magic filled the halls of Sage Creek Elementary today as Santa and Mrs. Claus made a special visit to our school. The beloved duo brought joy and excitement to students and staff alike with a delightful surprise visit.

Today marked a special and exciting event at Sage Creek Elementary as our beloved (and sometimes mischievous) Elf made a grand appearance by repelling from the rooftop! This thrilling spectacle captured the imaginations of students and staff alike, bringing a festive spirit to the school as we conclude our elf-themed activities.

We hope you have a wonderful and safe Christmas break!

How to train your dragon...elf style!

We enjoyed seeing Moana 2 today at Payson Stadium Cinema!

As Term 2 came to an end, our teachers selected one students from each class to be our Kind Kid of the Quarter. Inclusivity has been our focus during Term 2. Each term, Principal Youd introduces the attribute for the quarter during the "Principalās Read Aloud" and then students spend the entire term strengthening that attribute. Students nominated for the quarterly award receive a certificate, a swag bag with Sage Creek items, and a surprise yard sign at their house! New Kind Kids of the Quarter will be selected each term.
