The Charitable Giving Campaign is a district-wide campaign that allows employees to contribute to a variety of charities throughout Utah and right here in Nebo School District.
Almost universally, people have a desire to help others. Even a small donation can give an employee an opportunity to make a difference. This year's campaign includes the opportunity to give to United Way, Kids Cause, and the Nebo Education Foundation. The most effective way to give is through payroll deduction. We thank you, Nebo School District employees, for your generous donations.
Often employees that have suffered themselves are more likely to know what it is like to need health and human services; and, therefore, are more likely to contribute. The number one reason people don’t donate is that they are not asked.
The campaign in your schools will run October 2nd through October 27th.
To make giving even simpler and to use less paper, the campaign this year will be an online donation process that should take less than ten minutes to complete.
All donations to these charities are tax-deductible and will go a long way in supporting our mission: "To provide each student with quality instruction, learning opportunities and educational environments which inspire classroom success, personal excellence, and responsible citizenship."
