Diamond Fork Middle Food Drive

One school Nebo wants to spotlight this week is Diamond Fork Middle. The school pulled off another successful Food Drive. This year’s Food Drive was record breaking because of the amazing support of students, community, and faculty. Diamond Fork Middle raised 76,272 items--a new school record--for the Utah Valley Emergency Food Bank, Nebo Pantry, and Tabitha’s Way Local Food Pantry. Diamond Fork Middle students more than tripled the school’s goal of 25,000 items–these numbers do NOT include the very generous single donation from one of our parents.

The Utah Valley Emergency Food Bank sincerely thanks everyone at Diamond Fork Middle School for participating, and a special thank you to all those fun-loving, competitive faculty members who make the school's food drive a success.

Here is the final tally of the top 10 classes:

Ms. Andersen - 7,517 items
Ms. Brown - 7,417 items
Ms. Antares - 6,803 items
Mr. Bingham - 5,967 items
Mr. Evans - 4,949 items
Mr. Chandler - 4,913 items
Ms. McKenzie - 4,409 items
Ms. Schwenke - 4,399 items
Mr. Bigler - 3,740 items
Mr. Charles - 3,430 items

Congratulations to Emily Gunderson for answering this week’s “Where are we Wednesday?” challenge sponsored by Wiggy Wash.
