Kelly Mortensen, PTA Region X Director, presented a check to the Nebo School Board of Education this past month.
This is the fourth year that Seven Peaks has partnered with the Nebo Education Foundation. Seven Peaks donates back to the schools and classrooms as well as to the foundation to help fund teacher grants. The grants fund equipment, supplies, and tools to enrich student learning and success.
Coralee Olson is the Transportation Department’s latest "Outstanding Employee". Coralee was chosen by Cindi Ellis to acknowledge her excellent performance.
Nebo Transportation would like to congratulate Coralee Olson for being our Outstanding Employee for November.
Congratulations to Taylor Elementary School for donating 4,448 letters to the Macy's Believe: Make-A-Wish program this month! Students at the school worked hard in their classes writing letters to Santa asking what they wanted for Christmas or telling why they believe in the Christmas season.
Nebo School District is thrilled that UHSAA recognized Nebo School Board Member, Collin Allan, for his significant role in athletics. Mr. Allan has literally spent decades devoted to Utah’s athletics.
Keith Richards, a math teacher at Diamond Fork Junior High School in Spanish Fork, was surprised this past week by Horace Mann insurance agent, Craig Harvey. Another $250 will go to the school as part of the "Win $ Win" Sweepstakes.
The Nebo School Board of Education enjoyed seeing the innovative ways that technology is being used in the classrooms of Nebo School District.
Payson Junior High delighted the Nebo School Board of Education with their Jazz Band directed by Mrs. Connie Ericksen. They performed music from the selection of Glenn Miller – music popular in the1940's.
Spanish Fork High School was voted the "Best Fans" Award given by the Daily Herald.
This is a traveling trophy that will be awarded three times a year coinciding with all three seasons of sports. Vans can vote on a daily basis online on the sports page of the Daily Herald.
