Nebo educator, Gregory Hunter at Goshen Elementary, was selected as the Daily Herald Teacher of the Week.
A Nebo student, Kaleb Dymock at Mt. Nebo Junior, was selected as the Daily Herald Student of the Week.
Kaleb served on the Jr. Hope Squad last year and really cares about others. He has helped several students make good choices and be better friends.
There was a new twist on Dads and Donuts at Spring Lake Elementary this year. Many dads were able to come and support their students on this fun fall activity. However, for those students whose dads were not able to make it, the Payson High School football team came and filled in.

Diamond Fork Junior High (DFJH) hosted the BYU Dunk Team along with the Cougar Strong program to address the school about three major characteristics students can be:
Mentally Strong,
Physically Strong, and
Socially Strong.
Rick Nielsen doesn’t call himself a superintendent.
“I loved being a school teacher and I still call myself a teacher,” Nielsen said. “When people ask me what I am, I most often say I am a teacher or an educator.”
Monday, September 16, 2019, Nebo School District hosted the Disaster Shelter Live Tour and Preparedness Fair with the American Red Cross and other volunteer organizations. The American Red Cross provided equipment and set up a shelter inside the Summit Center in Springville.
Nebo School District was well represented at Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) Nationals with four high schools, and 21 students attending. Earlier in the summer, FCCLA members traveled to California for national competitions.
Nebo is offering another class for parents called, “Progress not Perfection.”
