Nebo's ALC Students Designed Salem City Logo - Answer to Wednesday Challenge

Submitted by lana.hiskey on

It was an exciting day for Nebo's Advanced Learning Center (ALC) students: Cedar Gasser and Caleb Fausett. The ALC Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS) Digital Media program, under the direction of Preston Powell, CAPS Instructor, had the privilege of designing a new logo for Salem City. The CAPS students have worked on this project for several months, and they were very excited to submit the final designs to Mayor Christensen, the city council, and the city employees for approval.

Congratulations to the ALC CAPS Digital Media. The design pictured was the final selection.

The ALC CAPS program thanks Salem City for this opportunity. Multiple students were involved and they were able to experience a real-world challenge. Special appreciation to Sydney Ward and Tucker Pederson (and all those that participated) for their presentations to the Salem City Council meetings.

Congratulations ALC CAPS students. We are very proud of your efforts!

Congratulations to Seth Christmas for answering this week’s “Where are we Wednesday?” challenge sponsored by Wiggy Wash.
