This past week, members of the Spanish Fork/Salem Chamber gathered for a monthly Lunch & Learn to hear about CTE (Career & Technical Education) Internships from Nebo School District's Christine Thomas. She gave a summary of the program, which is available to Nebo high school juniors and seniors who are interested in exploring a specific career and receiving high school credit.
Chris said, “There are many local companies who offer internship experiences for our students and we appreciate all the time they contribute to the students' success.”
Alan Ashton, Nebo’s CTE Coordinator, said, “Internships are the culminating event in a student's progress through Nebo's quality CTE programs. This is an opportunity for students to test skills developed in Jr high and High school and apply what they have learned to the real world.”
Nebo is so appreciative of all the local businesses that help our Nebo students to learn and experience real-life job and career experiences.
