Nebo School Board Appoints Cecily Yeager as the Principal of Diamond Fork Middle School

The Nebo School Board appointed Cecily Yeager as the Principal of Diamond Fork Middle School.

Cecily earned her Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in English Education in 2001 from Brigham Young University. She received her Master’s of Education from Southern Utah University in 2011 and her administrative certificate in 2018.

Cecily has been employed by Nebo School District for 24 years, beginning as a classroom teacher at both Spanish Fork Middle and Diamond Fork Junior High for 18 years. She next served as the Dean of Students at Salem Jr. High for two and a half years before being appointed as the Assistant Principal at Diamond Fork Middle for the past three and a half years.

Cecily was the BYU Intern of the Year in 2001. She received the Crystal Apple Award in 2013 and a Nebo PEAK Award in 2016.

A colleague said, “Cecily is a phenomenal advocate for students and parents and such a vital asset to our school as a whole. She is capable of multitasking all while maintaining a positive attitude and outlook on life. Cecily is passionate about her drive to help students. She will make any team and school better with her many skills and talents.”

Cecily is married to Todd Powers and they have 4 children. She enjoys baking, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
