Jessica Ribble Appointed as the Principal at Santaquin Elementary School

 The Nebo School Board of Education appointed Jessica Ribble as the new principal at Santaquin Elementary School.

 

Jessica earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Brigham Young University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Foundations from Brigham Young University.

 

Jessica has been employed by Nebo School district for ten years, beginning as a kindergarten teacher at Hobble Creek Elementary for six years, followed by one year as a fifth grade teacher at Cherry Creek Elementary. She next served as the TSA at Park View Elementary for the past three years.

 

In 2018, Jessica received the Nebo PEAK Award and the Crystal Apple Award.

 

A colleague commented, “Jessica is smart, caring, self-motivated, hard-working, a continuous learner, and willing to jump in wherever needed. Jessica has a level head and knows how to help without overwhelming those she works with. She will be an asset to any school.”

 

As an educator Jessica  identifies with a quote from Malcom X, "Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today." She states, “I believe that our students in Nebo will build a bright future.  As educators working together with families, we will make the world a better place.  I have had the privilege of learning from amazing mentors in Nebo School District. I am excited to join a new team of educators and change our world for the better.”

 

Jessica is married to Jarrod  and has four children. Jessica is an avid reader, movie watcher, quilter, has two dogs, two cats, ten chickens, loves Disney, and cooking!
