Former Nebo Athletes, Josh Trafny and Cameron Bates, Earned Bids at the Olympic Trials

Josh Trafny, a former member of Spanish Fork High School track team has earned a bid to throw his javelin at the Olympic trials in Eugene, Oregon on June 2nd. He completed his collegiate career at Weber State with a NCAA All-American Honorable Mention at the National Championship. He wraps up his collegiate career with a PR of 73.85 meters.  He also holds the record for Weber State's #2 All-Time throw.

Cameron Bates, a former member of the Maple Mountain High School track team has also earned a big to throw his javelin at the Olympic trials in Eugene, Oregon on June 2nd. He attended college at BYU and was a three time outdoor First Team All American. He holds the record for the outdoor javelin with 77.17meters. He placed 8th overall at the NCAA Outdoor National Championships.
