We are proud to announce that two of our own, Brittany Lundell and Travis Moss, presented at the prestigious National Elementary and Secondary Administrator's Conference in Nashville this week. Their session, which captivated a packed audience, was a highlight of the event.

Titled "Is This My Job? From Tube Tops to Tooth Fairies, Navigating the New Administrator Journey" their presentation explored the emotional highs and lows that school leaders face. Brittany and Travis shared their personal journey as new administrators in Nebo School District, offering invaluable insights and practical advice.

Brittany and Travis discussed strategies that have made a significant impact in their schools, including:

  • Increasing Student Recognition: Implementing programs that highlight student achievements, fostering a culture of excellence and pride.
  • Enhancing Student Connection: Creating opportunities for meaningful interactions between students and staff, building stronger relationships and a supportive school community.
  • Promoting Staff and Faculty Well-being: Introducing initiatives that help staff find joy and purpose in their work, leading to a more positive and productive school environment.

Their practical and heartfelt approach resonated with many attendees, who left the session inspired and equipped with new ideas to bring back to their own schools.

We are incredibly proud of Brittany and Travis for representing Nebo School District on a national stage and sharing their experiences and strategies for success. Their dedication to improving our schools and supporting our students and staff is truly commendable. Congratulations to both on this outstanding achievement!
