Wesley Ruff was inducted into the Nebo School District Hall of Fame in February, 2017, at the Springville High School boys’ basketball game.

Springville Junior High students started the Nebo School Board meeting off right by singing the National Anthem. The Springville Junior High choir along with the Salem Junior High Choir was recognized as the top junior high choirs in the state by the Utah Music Educators Association.

Nebo's Barnett Elementary's Student Lighthouse Team was invited to bring four students to the Utah State Capitol on February 16, 2017, to have breakfast with state representatives and state senators.

Dwight Liddiard, human resource coordinator for Nebo School District, was selected as the Special Contributor of the Year for the state of Utah by the Utah Association of Elementary School Principals (UAESP) this month.

Nebo School District’s Angela Harman was honored by the Utah Music Educator’s Association with the Superior Accomplishment Award. 

Congratulations to a Maple Mountain High School student in Nebo School District, Cadence Peterson, won First Place and $5,000 at the Utah State Senate Landscape Visual Arts Scholarship competition. Cadence oil piece is entitled, “Dead Horse Point”.
