In Memory of Paul Hanson Beckstrom

Nebo Education Foundation has received a donation in memory of Dr. Paul H. Beckstrom. Paul, 83, Spanish Fork, graduated this life Summa Cum Laude on Thursday, October 27, 2011, at the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah, surrounded by his loving family.

Nancy Warner Selected National 2010-11 Coach of the Year

Nancy Warner, Springville High School’s Girls’ Basketball coach, was selected as the 2010-11 Coach of the Year for Girls’ Basketball in Utah by the National Federation of State High School Association. Congratulations Coach Warner!

Suzanne Kimball – New Salem Junior High Principal

Nebo School District will be opening a new Salem Junior High School. Suzanne Kimball was appointed as the new principal at Salem Junior High by  the Nebo School Board of Education. Salem Junior High will open the fall of 2012.

All-State Choir Singers

The All-State choir includes over 700 high school singers from most of the high school choral programs throughout the state.

Blendtec Donation to Springville Junior High School

Recently, the company Blendtec donated eight blenders to the Springville Junior High School’s foods class. But they didn’t donate to just Springville Junior High, they donated blenders to all the secondary schools in Utah County.

Reading for the Record

On Thursday October 7, students at Park View Elementary helped set a world record in reading. Students participated in Jumpstart's Read for the Record program by being just a few of over 2 million students to read Llama Llama, Red Pajama at school that day.
