Nebo is thrilled to report on the Rodeo Reading Challenge. Each of our schools did wonderfully well. This year’s theme was “Read More” and Nebo students did just that–they increased their reading from 2,829,227 million minutes to 2,998,884 million minutes. 

Each school selected their top students in each grade that will get to participate in the Fiesta Days Rodeo opening night in July 2021. 

Two lucky students from each school were drawn to receive a pair of Justin boots, a pair of Wrangler jeans and a Resistol cowboy hat.

Brockbank Elementary
Brockbank had approximately 558 students that read a total of 189,666 minutes during the month of March.

Brockbank grade winners are:

Second Grade -- Jamie Bradshaw
Third Grade -- Ava Golding                    
Fourth Grade -- Kimberly Clark
Fifth Grade -- Mia Sandoval
Sixth Grade -- Tannor White

Mia Sandoval and Troy Dallin were the lucky winners drawn out of the hat as the Grand Prize winners.

Canyon Elementary
Canyon had approximately 530 students that read a total of 389,103 minutes during the month of March.

East Meadows Elementary
East Meadows had approximately 649 students that read a total of 698,285 minutes during the month of March.

Larsen had approximately 388 students that read a total of 145,222 minutes during the month of March.
