The 56th Annual Foster Grandparents Recognition luncheon’s theme this year is “FIESTA–Foster, Important, Essential, Supportive, Terrific, and Amazing.” The Recognition Banquet was held Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at Provo School District.
Utah County Health executive director, Eric Edwards, welcomed all the guests and Foster Grandparents. The Utah County Commissioners, Tom Sakievich and Bill Lee, as well as Mayor Bill Wright, came and gave their support to these many volunteers from all three school districts including Nebo, Alpine, and Provo.
When Nebo’s 13 loving grandparent volunteers share their love, time, and experience; they have the power to influence and help children in need. Foster Grandparents are role models, mentors, and friends. Nebo School District is certainly better for the many hours spent in the Foster Grandparent Program.
