Nebo Science Fair 2022 – Answer to Wednesday Challenge
The Nebo School District Science and Engineering Fair was held on February 9 for Secondary and February 10 for Elementary. More than 150 Nebo students participated in the fair.
In the Elementary Division, Best of Show category went to:

Annabelle Nelson, Sierra Bonita;
Alexandra Larson, Sierra Bonita;
Jary Murray, Valley View Middle;
Jacob Sandberg, Valley View Middle;
Ximena Villagrana, Sage Creek;
Ava Palmer, Sierra Bonita;
Brooklyn Jepsen, Sierra Bonita;
Lucia Theodosis, Spanish Oaks;
Brynlee Dyches, Spanish Oaks;
Kaitlyn Graham, Valley View Middle;
Brielle Glenn, Spanish Oaks;
Molly Hixon, Valley View Middle;
James Palmer, Spanish Oaks;
Lorenzi Finlinson, Rees;
Russell Beasley, Park View;
Brigham Jardine, Park View; and
Brayden Barney, Maple Grove Middle.
There were 21 students in the Elementary High Honors category, 27 students in the Elementary Honors category, Elementary Honorable Mention was awarded to 26 students, and there were 50 students who were Elementary District Finalists. These 100 projects will be moving on to compete at the Regional Science Fair as well.
In the Secondary Fair in the Best in Show category the winners were:
Paiton Baker, Mapleton Junior High;
Cora Madsen, Maple Grove Middle;
Dally Jo Day, Valley View Middle; and
Callie Friden, Mapleton Junior High.
In the Secondary Honors category was Kalli Oman, Wesley Gunderston, Jared Keel, Preston Chandler, Lexus Farish, Hinckley Taylor, Christian Voran, and Jaxton Haveron. In the District Finalist category was Spencer Waite, Wyatt Truscott, Weston Kleinman, Zandile Kauro, Austyn Oakey, and Bowen Fletcher. Congratulations to these students who will move on to the regional fair at BYU - Central Utah Science and Engineering Fair.
