Jessica Lindley – Appointed Assistant Principal of Spanish Fork Junior

The Nebo School Board of Education appointed Ms. Jessica Lindley as the Assistant Principal of Spanish Fork Junior for Nebo School District.

Mrs. Lindley received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education from Southern Utah University and her master’s degree in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University.
                                    
Currently, Mrs. Lindley serves as the Dean of Students for Spanish Fork Junior. She taught Special Education at Foothills Elementary in Salem for four years, in Emery County School District at Cottonwood Elementary for three years, and in Jordan School District at Riverton Elementary for two years.

Jessica was honored as the Elementary Teacher of the Year Award for Nebo School District in 2020. She was honored with the Crystal Apple Award in 2019 and the Excellence Teacher Award in 2016.

When asked about her educational philosophy, Jessica said, “I believe leadership is the key element of a successful school. My leadership strengths include teaching, curriculum development, behavior management, communication, and my background in special education has given me the ability to be an effective educator.”

A colleague said, “Jessica excels and goes above and beyond in all her commitments and volunteers for additional duties as needed. She is a team player and exhibits commitment to the profession and has a sincere desire to be an administrator. She is kind, caring, and dependable. We are appreciative of Jessica’s work ethic and dedication to the students, parents, school community, faculty, and staff at our school.”

“As an administrator, I will aspire to a school culture and educational environment conducive to student learning and development. I seek to foster a positive relationship with faculty through teamwork and collaboration,” stated Jessica. “I will initiate and lead programs to provide clear, concise information to professional staff and externally to students and parents. I want to help every student to reach their full potential by providing a learning environment that is always striving for success.”
