Adobe hosted the I-Heart-Tech Conference for 350 local students to attend workshops based on STEAM (Science, Tech, Engineering, Arts, and Math) education. In a robotics workshop, students faced several programming challenges.
Each year, young girls from middle and high schools are invited to fly with Delta on an entirely female-operated flight, from the ramp agents to pilots to dispatchers.
Nebo educator, Gregory Hunter at Goshen Elementary, was selected as the Daily Herald Teacher of the Week.
A Nebo student, Kaleb Dymock at Mt. Nebo Junior, was selected as the Daily Herald Student of the Week.
Kaleb served on the Jr. Hope Squad last year and really cares about others. He has helped several students make good choices and be better friends.
There was a new twist on Dads and Donuts at Spring Lake Elementary this year. Many dads were able to come and support their students on this fun fall activity. However, for those students whose dads were not able to make it, the Payson High School football team came and filled in.
