In the event’s eleventh year, the Nebo Special Education Extravaganza was another huge success. The seven junior high schools in the district came together with special needs students and peer mentors for a fun-filled day.
Captains and student leaders from six high schools and seven junior high schools attended the Nebo School District’s Fall Academy. The purpose of the Captains’ Academy is to promote sportsmanship between the schools.

Principal Alison Hansen addressed the Nebo School Board of Education in the September Board Meeting highlighting the rigorous courses at Sage Creek Elementary School. The presentation particularly emphasized the immense success of their Chinese Immersion Program.

Santaquin Elementary students ride in the "Reading Rodeo." The adventurous ride was for students who completed 60 days of reading over the summer.
For this year’s Homecoming at Payson High School, the class of 1998 wanted to do more than just a fun assembly. The Class of 1998 chose to give back to the teachers who had been a longstanding influence at the school with the opportunity to take a free trip to Hawaii.
