September 17, 2015, Nebo hosted yet another successful Special Education Extravaganza for all special needs children from the junior high schools in Nebo School District. The organizers and coordinators of the event are Coach Linda Lewis and special education teacher, Jo Edan Parker.
Nebo School District honors PEAK (Positive Energy And Kindness) Performers at the August Opening Institute that welcomes all 3,800 educators back for a new school year.
Kids Cause honored Dr. David Nance at the September School Board meeting for all his generous service to Nebo students. He graduated from Springville High School in 1976 and then served an LDS Mission to South Korea. Dr.
SALEM, UT – Senator Orrin Hatch came to Salem Hills High School to honor veterans at the 3rd Annual Military Appreciation football game on September 11, 2015.
Mrs. Sherry Sandberg was presented the 2015 Utah PTA Golden Apple Award for Outstanding Educator. She was presented with a small cash award from Mountain America Credit Union, as well as a cash Award from McDonald’s Corporation.
