Dwight Liddiard, principal at East Meadows Elementary, is currently serving on the Board of the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP).
The Nebo Education Foundation will be honoring a fabulous teacher–Karen Anderson by offering a scholarship to graduating senior students.
On January 6, 2011, Nebo School District held its second Captain's Academy Winter Session on leadership and sportsmanship. The Captain’s Academy is held three times a year.

Kelly Mortensen, PTA Region X Director, presented a check to the Nebo School Board of Education this past month.
This is the fourth year that Seven Peaks has partnered with the Nebo Education Foundation. Seven Peaks donates back to the schools and classrooms as well as to the foundation to help fund teacher grants. The grants fund equipment, supplies, and tools to enrich student learning and success.
Coralee Olson is the Transportation Department’s latest "Outstanding Employee". Coralee was chosen by Cindi Ellis to acknowledge her excellent performance.

Congratulations to Taylor Elementary School for donating 4,448 letters to the Macy's Believe: Make-A-Wish program this month! Students at the school worked hard in their classes writing letters to Santa asking what they wanted for Christmas or telling why they believe in the Christmas season.
Nebo School District is thrilled that UHSAA recognized Nebo School Board Member, Collin Allan, for his significant role in athletics. Mr. Allan has literally spent decades devoted to Utah’s athletics.
