The Nebo Education Foundation board met in May, to discuss the many grants and needs across the district. This Foundation Board functions through generous donations made by individuals and businesses as well as fundraisers where all the money goes to educate students in Nebo School District.

On April 28, Canyon Elementary along with Spanish Fork City, a tree city, celebrated Arbor Day. At the local Parkside Estates Park seven trees were planted with the help of Canyon Elementary’s second-graders and city staff.

The eighth-grade Peer Leadership Class at Payson Junior high School made Hygiene Kits for Refugees in Bangladesh. They started with a Telethon where they called local businesses and residents to ask for donations.
