The Nebo School District and Nebo Board of Education honored Dr. Lynn and Joan Bateman at Board meeting for their generous donation of two parcels of land in Duchesne County. One parcel was given in the early 1980s and another in the late 1980s. These two 10 acre sites were recently sold.

Kids Cause Honors Service

Kids Cause was organized 18 years ago for the purpose of providing clothing, medical treatment, vision care, dental care, school supplies and other items that will contribute to the well-being of public school students who are not served by any other community, state, or national agencies.

Nebo School District counselors present Dr. Adam Schweback, Director of Neuropsychology Center of Utah. His topic is “Right Brain! Left Brain! Hey, What About the Front Brain?” It will be held March 28 at 6:30 p.m. at Spanish Fork High’s little theater. The cost is free.

Goalball for Blind and Visually Impaired Students

Visually impaired students in Nebo District have participated in goalball practices since December. Goalball is a sport designed specifically for blind and visually impaired individuals. It can be fast-paced depending on the experience and ability levels of the players.
