Nebo School Board of Education recognized JoEden Parker and Carl Swenson as Huntsman Award for Excellence in Education recipients for 2013. JoEden Parker is a special education teacher at Mapleton Junior High and Carl Swenson is a Payson Junior High Principal.

Spanish Fork Don’s softball team donates $1,000 to Juab’s senior Sam Guillory. Last summer, Juab Senior, Sam Guillory, played catcher for the SFHS Lady Dons softball team.

Spanish Fork Mayor, Wayne Andersen, presented a check to the Nebo School Board of Education on May 8, 2013. This $74,675 came from the Wind Mill development at the mouth of the canyon.
Nebo School District students were well represented at the Central Utah Science and Engineering Fair (CUSEF) with 131 district winners. Five winners presented to the Nebo School Board of Education Wednesday.
