Nebo School District showcases our Positive Energy and Kind employees. PEAK Awards are nominated by patrons and recognized by the Superintendent Staff and Nebo School Board of Education.
October 2014 PEAK Award Winners:
Mapleton Elementary is focusing this year on learning through movement. This is in conjunction with teacher in-service through the Growing Arts In Nebo Schools (GAINS) and an art project grant from the Utah Division of Arts and Museums.
Salem Elementary fourth-graders learned about recycling and taking care of our planet with an excursion to Salem Pond. The students are supporting their classmate, Lucy Moody.
Nebo School District will present a Parent Awareness Night in accordance with Utah House Bill 329 Programs for Youth Protection. The topics of discussion will include:

Attending school every day, on time, makes a big difference in a student’s life. Nebo School District recognizes that parents need all the help they can get in problem solving if they have a child that is struggling with school attendance.
Riverview celebrated Constitution Day with a flag ceremony for the entire school. Sixth-grade scouts conducted the ceremony is full scout uniform.
Last Wednesday’s Challenge is the cozy reading and learning center at Art City Elementary. This space was designed by the librarian, Deanna Lindsey, and secretary, Kim Droubay. The design is actually 3-D and includes many different textures and finishes.
