The 2014 Teachers of the Year are selected by their peers in each school. Congratulations to all of these teachers that represent the quality of educators in Nebo School District.
The MMHS Science Olympiad team took Second Place at state!
Lisa Walker, Springville High School, was inducted into the Rocky Mountain Athletic Trainers Association on April 12, 2014. Congratulations for all you do for students and athletes.
Mrs. Ginnie Snyder, a phenomenal first grade teacher at Mapleton Elementary, was awarded Utah’s Best of State Award for K-12 Teacher in the Field of Education. The award is a fitting culmination of a 22-year teaching career, as Mrs. Snyder will be retiring this May.
On March 29, Sage Creek Elementary took five student teams to compete in the Utah State Tournament of Odyssey of the Mind in Park City.
Nebo School District has two finalists in the Celebrate Teachers! contest at Provo Towne Centre. Courtney Corbin at Taylor Elementary and Deanne Helquist at Mapleton Junior.
