The Utah Music Educator’s Association hosted the All State outstanding high school singers from throughout Utah in the All-State Grand Festival concert at the Salt Lake Tabernacle on Saturday, October 13.

Amber Hall, physical education department chair at Maple Mountain High, was named the Utah High School Physical Education Teacher of the Year 2012 by the Utah Association for Health Physical Education Recreation and Dance (UAHPERD).

Nebo School Board Meeting Changed to October 17, 6:00 p.m.

October's Nebo School Board meeting will be October 17, at 6:00 p.m. because of Fall Break. Usually the Nebo School Board of Education meets the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. The public is invited to attend these meetings.

Rachel's Challenge a Huge Success -- Answer to Wednesday's Challenge

Rachel’s Challenge was a huge success. Students from both Springville High and Maple Mountain High had the opportunity to participate in 60 minute assemblies where they learned about Rachel Scott, the first victim of the Columbine High School shootings back on April 20, 1999.
